Urana Central School students have embraced the new school shirts with great enthusiasm.
When the new shirts arrived in school last Monday, there was much excitement. Some primary students hurriedly changed their clothes to show off the new garments. Parents arrived to pay out remaining money on orders so that keen kids could start wearing them straight away. What a fantastic response to the review started by the P&C earlier this year.
The P&C Uniform Committee spent many hours researching the new uniforms, and the way that students have embraced the new shirts is a fitting reward for those involved in the process.
There is a limited number of spare shirts and other uniform items available for purchase through the office. A new order will be organised again, early in 2011.
